National conference on climate change and sustaining mountain ecosystems (05/11/2009)

November 6-7, 2009, New Delhi

Leading non-profit organisation LEAD India, with the support of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), has developed a unique and innovative project to create a network of grassroots Climate Leaders trained and empowered to bring forth regional climate change concerns to a national level.

LEAD India is now organising a 2-day National Conference to provide a platform to the Climate Leaders to interface with policy makers, experts, institutions and donor agencies.

Sir Richard Stagg, British High Commissioner to India and Nitin Desai, Member, Prime Minister's Council on Climate Change & President LEAD India will address the gathering.
