Interact Call 6
Building Links with India
Call for Proposals
Closing date: 16:00 Wednesday 30 July 2008
The EPSRC invites applications to this sixth call of the INTERACT programme to build collaborative partnerships with research groups and organisations in India in all fields within EPSRC’s remit.
The programme will support travel and more substantial follow-on funding for building an international network as part of a single award. This will lead to strong collaborative research partnerships and promote UK research interests in India. It is expected that the networks will be relevant to the needs to business and may have some industrial interaction.
The international research networks formed through this call will be expected to operate for no longer than 2 years with EPSRC funding, after which time they should aim to become self-supporting.
Applications are invited from UK eligible researchers to form networks with academic researchers in India in all areas within EPSRC’s remit. The network must contain at least 3 UK research institutions (HEIs) and at least one research group in India.
